Your first Manual Osteopathy session includes a detailed health intake and physical assessment to understand your specific needs and concerns. The practitioner will review your medical history, posture, movement, and tissue quality to develop a personalized treatment plan. Gentle hands-on techniques may be used to restore balance, improve mobility, and support your body’s natural healing. You may be on and off the table many times. Your therapist will give you physical prompts. Please wear or bring comfortable, thin, and freely moving clothing such as yoga pants, leggings, or a t-shirt. Manual Osteopathy is performed through fabric, and lightweight materials allow for effective assessment and mobilization without undressing. Avoid thick fabrics, denim, belts, or restrictive clothing during your session.
